I have a webcam and tisha has a webcam. I always wondered why mine was so fiddly and terrible and grainy, but accepted it cuz i thought it was that way. Was it cuz I had USB 1.1 and not 2? Was it cuz my processor speed was slower? I'm really picky with image quality, see. So, I bought a USB 2 card in hopes it would improve. It did a little.
I asked tisha to bring over her webcam so i could compare it. I installed her camera on my computer and we took these two pictures at the same time, in the same conditions. IT'S RIDICULOUS! I'm so flabbergasted I've been staring at the photo for hours! :O
Tish's is on the left, mine's on the right.
I am upset because the webcam I bought is a Logitech Quickcam Express. It was 1,100. But that was the image quality? Tish's was cheaper, and it's waay better.
What is it with me and webcams? I remember buying the top of the line webcam back in the day for 5k so I could videochat with migo. He bought the same model but lower end and it was lightyears better.
I'm buying a new webcam. |
